1- What is Online Media?
Online Media is software which brings live and recorded television and
radio at your desktop. Online Media comes with 2000 TVs, 1500 Radios and
Movie trails for everybody to enjoy. You can easily manage these
stations and add TV or Radio station of your choice.
2- System Requirements:
- CPU 233MHz or Higher
- RAM 32 MB or Higher
- Disk Space 2 MB
- Operating System Windows 95 Windows 98, 98SE, ME, NT, 2000, or XP
- There is special version for Vista.
- Software Windows Media Player 7 or Higher
3- How can I update the stations list?
The stations list will be updated automatically.
4- Should I always check Goomsoft for a new version of Online media
program?
No. If there is a new version a message will be displayed from the
program tell you that there is a new version and ask you if you want to
download this new version.
5- Do I need Real Player?
-There are streams which need Real Player.
6- How do I install and uninstall Online Media?
* Installation:
Online Media is distributed as a single setup program file.
1- Open Windows Explorer
2- Locate the Online Media setup program (If it's not on your computer
Download it from www.goomsoft.com)
3- Double click on the program setup the setup wizard will guide you
through rest of the setup.
* Uninstalling
Online Media includes the uninstall program. To uninstall the Online
Media:
1- Select Start >Programs (All Programs)
2- Go to the Online Media > Uninstall
3- Click on the Uninstall Online Media the uninstall wizard will guide
you through the uninstall procedure.
Alternatively you can use the windows Add/Remove utility to uninstall
the Online Media.
1- Browse the Control Panel.
2- Double click on Add/Remove Program
3- Select Online Media and press the Add/Remove button, The Uninstall
wizard will guide you through the uninstall procedure.
7- I just downloaded and saved
the file to my hard drive, however, I have forgotten its location. How
do I go about finding it again?
This is an occurrence experienced by some of our
members. The solution is actually very easy; your web browser normally
defaults to the same directory every time you download a file until you
change it. An easy way to figure out the location of this download
directory is to simply download another file and when you are prompted
to save the file to your hard drive the "Save As" window will appear and
reveal your download directory.
8- Do I have to pay to use Online Media?
No, the program is free.
9- The video stops but the sound continues, what's wrong?
Try to start the stream again, this sometimes fixes the problem.
